I cannot figure out what the R-L, G-L, and L-Y color legends mean on my FSM wiring diagram. (It's the "L" that stumps me). I looked up wiring diageam legends on the net and even found some for Toyota's and none mentioned this color arrangement. My horn wiring dead-ends (cut off) under my hood with no sign of the other end.

My '85 book lists the color codes in the Body Electrical (BE) section (which is conveniently located about 200 pages *before* the wiring diagrams):

B = Black
G = Green
L = Light blue
O = Orange
R = Red
W = White
BR= BRown
GR= GRey
LG= Light Green
P = Pink
V = Violet
Y = Yellow

And X-Y means X-color wire with Y-color stripe

That legend should be in your FSM, along with how Toyota orients the electrical connectors- keyway up, facing outward for numbering. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
