Getting the Wheeling Fever
What have you experts out there found are common vacuum leaks on this model? I was told that one source of high hydrocarbons could be a vacuum leak, and I have that funky butterfly valve assy.

what hoses usually crack or leak?

thanks!

I just bought a bulk role of black tubing in the same diameter and went at all of em... you may have a few in the wrong place too...

87' Raider: off road package, rebuilt engine with (new) stock tires and alloy wheels but otherwise original.

Unhook the butterfly electrics, wire the arm in place, and RTV the shafts at the manifold.

Shouldn't make a diff. It's just a tuning aid for hp. The off at rest position should be right for low rpms, and I don't think the smog test gets to rpms above the changeover threshold.
