Pulled up on a nice lifted Suzuki at a stop light on the way home and told him about the wire. Hopefully he will be stopping in here at some point. If not oh well, it was worth a shot.

Need a Spot

Hi, I'm a newcomer but not the one mentioned. I'm looking at an 87 sammi and will have the driveline checked out tomorrow. There is a clunk when I let out the clutch. I can see there is play in the ujoints and the yoke. Is there anything hard about doing new ujoints? I've done them a few times in my trucks. Thanks for any info/advise. Mike

other than the size ive done a couple and there not that bad. but get the greasable ones. the non-greasable ones seem to wear out in about a couple months. oh yeah get some wd-40 on those suckers before you even touch them dont try to press them out without it. i wrecked my rear driveshaft the first time i tried that one.

yeah PB blaster works well also.because of the size i found mine easier to do if i use a socket vice and C clamp.
