I wanted to see if there were any other options for carbs for the Dodge Raider 4 cylinder? Mine is on its last leg and I wanted to see if there was an alternative to the stock setup. Especially since a remanufactured unit is over $400. Is there a cheaper, better option (other than rebuilding)? Also, who has the best price for the remanufactured units? Any help/advice is appreciated and welcomed.

There are the stock Mikuni and aftermarket Weber carbs. There is also the turbo setup. Some folks have talked about FI using an Australian intake manifold. That's about it.

Do you happen to know what the Weber part number is? Is there a whole lot of modification to get it to work?

DJ, If memory serves me correctly, you would want a Weber K610 conversion kit. I think that they run about $350 new. You can find them on EBAY also. The kit includes a Weber 32/36 DGEV carb. It's a 2 barrel progressive. Take a look at this site: Weber ConversionsAlso, do a search on this site. There is good information to be found with a little digging.

Some folks have talked about FI using an Australian intake manifold. Aw cmon, it's a little more than talk. There are at least 3 members on here that did use/are using the Magna intake in a truck. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

What does that FI setup cost? Any links to a website or more info? I did a search here but the search function is worthless.

Look at the turbo bible post stickied near the top of the page. Follow the directions. Omit turbo. You're done.
