Getting the Wheeling Fever
I need the quickest and least painlful way to bring my front end up at least 2" and probably more like 2.5" As you know I got another Raider and the last guy installed OME springs in the rear after I replaced the completely worn out rear shocks it raised it even more. If I crank up the torsion bars is it going to affect my alignment? Will I need to get it re-alinged? Would a body lift be better? I dont want to keep driving down the street looking like I'm stuck in the 70's with a '74 Camaro and a set of Highjacker shocks on the back!

If you only install a body lift, it will still sit nose down. To get just the front up, you will have to crank the torsion bars.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

The quickest and least painful is to crawl under the truck and adjust those torsion bars to level out the truck. Keep in mind that if you crank on them until the bump stops make contact, the ride will be very rough and your shock absorbers will have no chance to affect your ride.

Now, what you DON'T want to do is put in half a body lift to level the body to the road. Bad stresses on the body = trouble down the road. Besides that, the body lift can be a bit troublesome...

Trim the bump stops and crank those bars. All will be good. Your rear shocks didn't lift the truck, by the way, they'll soften up a little after they cycle a few times. Good luck!

Edit: Dammit, it takes me forever to type. Sparkem said it already...

From your previous thread on the subject of leveling out, swap out the UCAs then crank the t-bars. It's quicker, easier, AND cheaper than doing a body lift and will address the alignment issues (and others).

And as mentioned, a body lift won't address your specific issue.

What about 35's in the front and 33's in the rear

Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...
