Well, after cursing myself for not ordering one earlier so I'd have it for my brake overhaul...I ordered from the materials distribution center: http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=320883#320883if anyone's interested in current pricing: FSM + detailed electrical stuff + taxes/shipping to Kansas City, MO = $170 and some change.

Ouch. I know it takes some time, but you can also download them from techinfo.toyota.com for $10 for 24 hours. This is also where you get your TSB's and recall articles.

I went that route for a little while...but it was too much of a pain. Found some posts that outlined how to automate the download of the full set, but I couldn't locate a 96 T100 config.
I'm happy I finally ordered it...been wanting it for several years now, just never bit it...

Its come down. I paid around $250 for mine (and its paid for itself MANY times over). I paid about $250 for the '97 4runner set more recently too. The factory wiring diagram book (EWD) is also a great investment.
Be glad you don't have a hybrid. I've heard their manuals are well over $1000. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />
I've downloaded some stuff from techinfo.toyota when I needed it, but in the shop its MUCH nicer to have the real thing in front of you and not just a few printed excerpts.

I know I have one manual, it omits chapters 1-3 or something like that, looks blackish with pinkish.. Checking online they dont seem to offer anything but "engine, chassis, body, electrical" which is a blackish book and a supplement book thats gray?
