The front oil seal can be removed by supporting the nose of the pump on each side and tapping it out with a simple drift or suitable rod. There is nothing to "time" on the gears, just put them in, lube them well. Be sure when looking at the gears as installed you can see the little diamond shape on the side of each, that will be correct. Those should face the engine's timing cover....*EB *Beats the he** outa me!....*LOL**...
