Getting the Wheeling Fever
Looking for a 1986 Isuzu Trooper II crank timing gear and pictures of how to install one properly. I picked up a trooper for cheap but it keeps shredding the belts and the the crank timing gear is damaged!!

Well no help to anyone here, I found a couple good sites that deal with Isuzu parts. www.myisuzuparts.com and www.isuzuparts.com. they have diagrams and all and one gives you info on all local Isuzu parts dealers within the area.

I was suprised that no one knew. I mean this is a Isuzu forum isn't it?? Oh but I forgot everyone just buys pre-built motors and does motor swaps!! So I guess shame on me for asking in the first place. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Roll Me Over
A couple of comments are in order.

First, traffic is much lower on the weekends, particularly in the summer.

Second, there are relatively few 86's around, and thus fewer people who are familiar with repair details of a 31 year old engine. Face it, there are very few of us around who still drive 1st generation rigs, let alone early 1st generation rigs.

Third, you were able to find the answer yourself elsewhere fairly quickly. You probably could have found it here also with (a)a meaningful subject line or (b)a search on this site, looking for either info on a 2.3 or a 2.6, since the details for your question would be the same.

Fourth, your level of sarcasm is more appropriate for other forums, and will not likely get you a lot of help in the future.
