Need a Spot
I have a 93 toyota 4x4 with the 3.0. I was looking under the truck the other day and twisted the drive shaft and noticed a lot of play with it before it would hit in the rear axle gears. Is this a sign of great wear?

Its possible.

Could be other things though. Pinion nut could be loose and its not meshing properly with the ring gear.

Could be a worn out u joint.

You need to pull the drive shaft and check things out.
