After Phil mentioned the Pajero Evo, I decided to look it up! Scary prices at the Japan auctions: 1997 Pajero Evo sold prices
I am now officially a Pajero owner. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. 1992 Exceed w/winter pkg, roof tray, bounceys, the works

Nothing to worry about, we have at least 4 years more to safe money <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
But seriously they are not so scared. I saw in Japan $8,200 for 1993 2,8L CIF price with 80,000 km on clock.
What we can do? Just take more care on our current rides, right? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Wow, I just noticed something else from that list: the only 5spd under $10K USD was a rebuild. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> Start saving now if you want a stick!

Do we know what these prices included? After all this is a Russian website, are the prices inclusive of shipping, or anything else? Or is is just the price of the vehicle. I would hazard a guess that it would include something other than just the purchase, ore we would be looking at a Japanese website for pricing as that is where we are buying our vehicles from. Any other thoughts? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cyclops.gif" alt="" />

The RU sites are quoting auction prices paid in Japan, in USD. At least the site I look at. Most of our vehicles averaged somewhere around $1600-2200 USD (when converted from JPY) when we bought a year or two ago...

I just saw a 2.8 4 door on autotrader.ca for $22,000. Is that right or are they a little off?
Eric Wegerich 89 Montero as chopped as can be. Now with 5.29's

LOL, they're quite a bit off, that particular one has 8,000 km on it, and plastic still on the seats and carpet! The 1993s should be selling for about the same as the 1992s, except for the 2.8 possibly commanding a premium for a bit. I'm looking at bringing a 1993 4dr for well under $9K, so that's a crazy price unless you want something in showroom condition.

I'm in the same boat... just watching for the right one right now, before I pounce! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rodent.gif" alt="" /> Would still like a paj-evo, but if they're silly priced, I may have to "settle" for a genII.5 for the next upgrade...
