WOW! Those guys are way over the top drama queens. That was hard to watch. I was kind of embarrassed for them. I've seen folks act like that in certain churches too and it strikes me as over the top there as well. I'd cry like that if i lost my kid but other than that...

I do think it sucks the old growth is pretty much gone but crying and making an emotional mess of yourself usually is not the answer. ....was she drunk?

#1 if you CARE so much, go ahead and buy some of that land, and let your trees grow old.

#2 Go to a national forest, or National park... cuddle with those trees.

#3 Maybe those folks don't understand the paper industry is driven off of trees grown as crops.

#4 Seriously... Get a job, and get on with your life.

Geezzus, that sent shivers up my spine. I couldn't even finish watching it.

All I can say is a few cans short of a 6 pack right there. I've been saving, environmentalism is the new religion and some folks are taking it VERY seriously. Unfortunatley they are growing in numbers and power.

There is some cult like activities going on there

I was hiking in Big Sur a few days after may day and found in the middle of the woods a May Day pole with colored streamers. The grass was all trampled and I'm sure it was the site of some strange pagan sex orgy
