Getting the Wheeling Fever
My rear diff. seal is also leaking and I've been reading this stuff about checking the drive pinion preload before removing the nut. Is this something you guys do or should I just remove the nut insert the new seal and torque the nut back on?

Need a Spot
It would be a good idea. If there is a crush sleeve then there is the possibility of adding more preload, by the turn of a nut..
