Getting the Wheeling Fever
I appreciate all the advice I get on this site. I'm the guy with the 52 Willys with a T10 tranny (yes I know the gears are too high) and the original Spicer 18 T case. When I top up the oil in the tranny and the T case and then run it, the tranny oil level is low and the T case oil level is overfull. Are they supposed to share oil back and forth or do I have oil leaking from the tranny to the T case.

The T10 lube "system" is self contained, and should not be "leaking" into the transfer case.

We did used to have a T10 in the Late Model, until we switched to a Saginaw 3 speed for less rotating mass, and it did develop a leak, but that was due to a cracked aluminum housing.
