Getting the Wheeling Fever

Hey guys I need a transistor unit/coil for my truck (89 3.0) and I dont have any local junkyards with my year. They have some mid 90's models there and they look similar. Anybody know if they will work or if anybody has a good one that will work on my truck that would be great.
