Body Damage is Cool
what are you going to run for an amp phil???? for a 1000W sub you could get something that'll make quite a thump! I have just a 300W amp on my 12" phoenix Gold XMAX sub and it is loud enough for me.

I haven't decided on an amp yet Nigel.

But I have gotten some more naughty bits for the new truck over the last couple of months...

Got some E-code headlights, Depo brand, H4 bulbs go in em...

Big ass receiver, that uses the frame AND the center four bolts behind the tow loop...

Combo starter/alarm (had this for a while, but it never ever got installed in the last truck. Bound and determined that it will go in this one)

And of course these little fellers are going in the new truck too. Thought I would keep them "seasoned" in the mean time... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Hope she gets here soon, or I won't be able to afford to get her inspected! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Cool! I'm no mudder, but it's one of the Mad Max accessories I was thinking of ponying up for. We had some crazy flooding a couple years ago, enough that I saw a few regular cars stalled out in giant puddles here in the Vancouver suburbs. Not that we're down there sucking road muck with the Civics of the world anyway, but hydrolock isn't worth the risk!

Well, after installing it twice (wrong harness used the first time), I took the Panasonic out again (it's forsale) and went a little more upscale for the headunit. Wanted something with "tilt" so I could easily see it from the driver's seat.

Here's what I ended up with:

JVC AVX44 "El Kameleon". This thing has every bell and whistle, including bluetooth, usb in, etc. A little fancier than I originally had in mind, but this truck turned out to be a little fancier too, and it kinda fits in... Update to come on this one...

Here she be, installed:

Loving the on-board blue-tooth! Also nice to be able to tilt the display so you can actually see it down there.

Along with the satellite radio (RAM-mounted):

and the new on-road GPS (also RAM-mounted)

(the trail GPS is waiting in the glovebox for offroad duty)

And finally, new E-code headlights are installed (still need to get better bulbs)

Also managed to put an aux fuse panel behind the glovebox, with switched and unswitched power...
