Well I sold it today. I dont know if I am happy or sad :barf. It is nice that is sold but I think that I will miss it. I sold it to a guy named Dave from Richmond and I told him about the great 4x4wire site so hopfully he will join up (he has my owners and repair manuals). The amount of interest I got after posting it for 7,500 was surprising 10 people in 5 days, as oposed to 0 in 1 month before that.

I'm happy/sad for you Don. If its what you wanted to do, then I guess its a good thing, right? Its funny how these work - you get no interest for months, and then all of a sudden everybody and their dog wants it.

Yours looked like a nice, clean, solid rig. The new owner will have a good truck - nice of you to send him here.

You're going to love the new Tacoma though (that was what you got right?). My Bro in law got one not long ago, and it is a very nice truck.

Good luck!
Phil

Congratulations, Don!
Mine gone today too to young guy in Richmond, BC.
I am surely more sad than happy. I did it for my wife, I love her. She refused to learn manual shifting. Now we have 4,0L Soarer. We'll see if we love it. If not, I'll be shopping for 2,8L LWB soon.

Good luck to all of you mates!
It was amazing 1,5 years with my Pajero and your support here.

Five years with my MTs and she still can't even back it out of the driveway. Even so, I'm not giving up my hand-shakers for that reason. That's just me though- I'm can be a bit obstanant about such things...

Ya it is a Tacoma that I have now. I love it (but wish they would get a diesel in that thing). I get great gas milage on the highway (about the same as the pajero 25-28) but don't do anywhere as good as the pajero in town. I am lucky thou because I drive about 70 km a day most of it highway so fuel isn't killing me. The difference when I tow my tent trailer is awesome (the power that the 4L motor is great and the more stable feel is great as well. I will pop in here and there to see whats new. Its been fun. Don.

Sad to here you go, but will be looking forwards to seeing you back when you get your 2.8!
So from now one, should I call Soarerist?
