What I like better than baby wipes is the Dove cleansing cloths. They've got soap in them; get 'em wet, lather up, rinse-- and you actually feel clean. I've fired off both those and baby wipes.

Just a little too much skin there.

Seriously you think tin foil?? Alright. tell that to GM, DHL, and all the other people losing their hat.

You just don't know how reassuring it is to KNOW that you will have somewhere to sleep, and something to eat when you get laid off, and can't find work.

Tin foil or no, I'd be lying if I said alcohol was not a factor in the creation of that post.

If anyone has a desk job, and can listen to headphones, OR wants to listen to something different at home listen up.

www.thesurvivalpodcast.com

Jack speaks for almost an hour daily on various modern survival topics. One day might be on storing food, one day on the 22 cartridge, one day on the economy, and then one day one permaculture, and turning your home into a homestead.

I HIGHLY encourage anyone interested in this stuff to give this a listen.

Here are a few links to other stuff that I thought was important enough to bookmark.

LDS PDF manual. Mormoms.... got to love them.

Here is an AWESOME PDF on how to store food in buckets with Mylar Bags.

More Mormon goodies. As I said before... these guys are cool.

And this folks... is the Mother load of Preparedness information.

Has anyone taken a listen to the survival podcast?

If so, what'd you think? If not, get on it!

I've listened to that before. I'm more into books smile

That monster link is great - but the index sucks. I guess I'll just download the whole thing

I'm on my 10th podcast, and I love it. The guy thinks exactly like I do. I went to his site and downloaded all the ones i'm interested in. Then I burned them to a cd in MP3 format to listen to in my car. When I'm through the CD I'll download more and give the disc away.

Curtis have you done any Mylar packing? If so did you vacuum or just throw in the O2 absorbents? Can you overkill on absorbents? Do absorbents create a vacuum - some places seem to say they do.
