I have a set of rear helper coil springs wich just bolt on replacing the rubber bumpstops, it says they work to help the leaf springs when the vehicle is loaded or hauling to level it and prevent bottoming.

I do carry overweight on the rear and already have a extra leaf spring, will this coils work for high speed off-road (ripples, jumps and bumps) or they will just make the suspension stiffer, rebound more or any other side effects?

The coil springs are short, about 7" from the top to the plate wich has a round base to sit on top of the differential housing, the distance from the rubber bumpstop seat to the frame is about 5", the springs can be trimmed so it doesn't look like a dragster, or maybe the base plate can be flattened and simply bolt them on top of the leaf springs.
