ONE-SIXTY-EIGHT today!! Woohoo! The sign said 1.71, but the pump said 1.68. Filled up both Montys, as the wife was following me home with our new dryer. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

OK, first, I don't want any of you "old heads" passing out when you see the signature here. Yes, I'm still alive and kickin'.
I just paid $1.63 for UNL in Abilene, TX yesterday for Granny's Saturn Vue. (I didn't have anything to say about her getting that. I told her to get the Mitsu. I told her!) Then I paid $2.65 for diesel in my Dodge. (Yes, I've been reduced to driving a full-sized 3/4 ton Cummins/6 spd. Tried pulling a 16' trailer with 3 horses in it with the Montero and Monty wasn't too pleased.)
Here where we're at most everybody is tied to the oil patch one way or the other. West Texas Intermediate was below $46 a bbl this AM. Prices will continue to drop.

Maybe not right away, but within two to three years I have a sneaking suspicion we're going to be seeing $5-a-gallon gas.
