NAPA. You bend it to shape. Take your old one so you get the right size.

Thanks hazy daze but that dont work ...This brake line must be the same as the other side ...looks like a small coil spring about 1 1/2 inches in diametar and about 8 inches long ..machine shop said they cannot bend tubing like a coil spring and i should look for a used one or a parts place ...

Hazy is right. Get a good tubing bender and the correct size tubing. I'd buy a few extras just incase. Don't do it to fast they kink fairly easy.

Hows that hazy? I helped someone. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

And just for that I would suggest CarQuest.

Worked there for 5 years. Quit got a job for the County don't miss it all all. I see why you are so hostile now retail parts will do that to you.

Do you mean the brass/metal lines coming from the brake master cylinder on the upper driver side firewall?

Well Yes And No off-roader...they are not brass ...they are steel lines ,they originate at the master cylinder and go into a steel block and then seperate in different directions to each of the four wheels . The one i need is on the front passenger side . It comesdown on the inside of the wheel well / inner fender then passes thru the well and goes to the disc brake . I was hoping someone on the board had a spare or could pull one from some parts they had lying around ..cant seem to find one here on the east coast ,even the dealers dont stock them ...

Not that this post necessarily bears a response, but, I'm not in retail parts. I have 2 counter-people that deal with the 3 or 4 retail customers that come in. I handle all of the wholesale accounts my store has. My job is very relaxing. The man that owns the store pays me very well and on time. I get 2 weeks paid vacation a year, a christmas bonus equal to 2 weeks pay, 5 sick days (never used em), use of a delivery truck whenever I need it, a tank of gas a month for use of my personal vehicle for business. I close my store early on Saturdays during college football and still get paid for a full day. I also get afternoons off, with pay, every so often to do whatever. He buys my breakfast every morning and lunch most days. He takes me out for dinner and beer once a month to go over business issues. I get parts for next-to-nothing and have use of the warehouse space to work on vehicles at my leisure. There's more that I can't think of right now, but you get the jist. Sounds real frustrating, doesn't it?

Thanks Michael. Coming from a pro, that's a compliment <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Forgot to mention, that for every year I work here, I get 2.5% ownership of the company. After 5 years, I'm "vested" and I get my share of the profits paid to me. Prior to that, my "share" goes back into the pot to pay for said share. I can own up to 40% when it's all said and done. I can buy my entire allowed portion whenever I want and become fully vested at that time. Golly, ya know what's really frustrating?
