Getting a 0401 code on your second generation Isuzu V6? Here is what you need:

Remove the hex plug from below the EGR and use one of these brass brushes to remove the carbon. Push it in a half inch and pull it out. Repeat, going a little deeper each time until you bottom out the brush at the center of the intake manifold. You will be amazed at the amount of carbon that comes out!
