I am starting to investigate wether we can swap the bellhousings on the Gen 1 V6 5 Speed. Does anyone have access to measure the bellhousing to trans bolt pattern? I am trying to see if we can swap different engines & leave the trans/T-case intact.

Thanks....

Ed

When I get the engine out of my aqua 91, I can measure the bellhousing for you.

Damn, Ed. I didn't realize where you are. We go to Sarasota/LBK at least once a year to visit my out-laws. We'll be there next this March. Maybe we can hook up...

I need a basic diagram of the bell to trans bolt pattern & the input shaft hole diameter. Also, face to face measurement.

Then, I will check my boss's extensive part inventory to see what he has to help us & do some other research to find what else fit.

Thanks, Colt....

Monty, when you come down, I'll give you a guided tour of the Museum. You will see the most amazing GM musclecar collection. We even have a little puddlejumper in the collection.... Her name is Miss Budweiser U1

We're only 45 Min. to Sarasota. Great Redfish, Snook & Tarpon...
