I haven't had time to figure out what is wrong, I had to get to work and I figured while I'm here all day I might as well get some other's thoughts...

'92 pickup, 4x4 4 cyl auto.

Started the truck this morning, turned on the lights and they flashed and went out. Just the head lights mind you, the parking lights all work fine. I tried my hi beams, only one side works. So there it is, running lights are fine, no lo beam and only one hi beam...

Bulbs OK? They can and do burn out.

Pull back on the dimmer stick and see what happens? If that works OK (low and high beams on), then might be a problem in the headlight combo switch:

Otherwise check for voltage at the headlight connector itself:

[color:"blue"] Just the one HI beam comes on, once the two lo beams flashed when I first turned them on, nothing... [/color]

I would replace both headlights as a first step. They're cheap and its the quickest fix. If that isnt the problem then at least you have new lights. I've had both lights blow at once.
