Getting the Wheeling Fever
Just rolled 147,000 miles and have never changed the 02 sensor.. The service writer at Toyota says you don't need to change it until the check engine light comes on but the gas mileage is getting worse and worse.. Are you really suppose to wait for the CEL to come on and do the after market sensors (like the kind on eBay)work fine?? Big price savings if they do... thanks!

get the one with OEM connectors. unless you like to splice and dice and save like $20 per...

btw, when was the last time you got a tune up? could be the reason for bad gas mileage or crappy power.

never had a tune up.. I guess with these newer vehicles, I don't think about tune ups like older vehicles.. I just know from changing the O2 sensors on my T100 recently, I have never changed the sensor on the 4Runner so I brought it up to the Toyota service advisor last time had it in.. good point!
