I was down near Paso Robles on Friday last week on work and saw a First Gen SWB in a parts yard. I was driving from I-5 to Hwy-101 on SR-46 and was about 5 miles west of the I-5 SR-46 interchange when I saw a sign for auto parts. I remember think to myself "I wonder if it's a junk yard?" As I got closer, sure enough it was. Then I thought, "I wonder if my truck is in there?" I glanced over as I drove by and saw a Red SWB Gen 1 sitting on wheels with a roofrack. I tried to get an eyefull for anyone interested. The only thing that stuck out was the grill which was definitely post 1986.
