I may be overtooled here. I've got a 1/4" Hitachi GD0800C 6.6amp electric die grinder that would eat aluminum alive, which is why I would grind it. The machine shop would be the best route, IF they can figure out how to chuck it...

I think an air die grinder would take forever unless you have an industrial model.

Years ago I was trying to fit some early 80's 14x8 Supra wheels on my 240z & ran into the same problem, but on the front wheels only. I took all 4 wheels to a machine shop where they charged me $10 a wheel to enlarge the center bore. This was back in 1990 or so, so your machine shop may differ...

I contacted a shop today and GASPED!!!! when they said $300 for the job on 4 wheels. I guess I'm still shopping, so to speak. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" />

Its really for the best to keep snowflakes on the isuzus and pomegranates on the mistsubishis... Its about the only way I can tell mine apart

Yah, but...

I think the Mitsu teardrops look ok, but not as good as the snowflakes. At this moment it's academic, as I can only fit 1/2 the wheels and my Raider looks like a dragster. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
