Anyone changed a rear wheel bearing on a gen 2 yet? If so where did you get the parts? From my surfing I gather that the rear bearings are greased and not running in gear oil. If so what a dumb idea!!! Looks like an old school Dana 44 with a pressed in collar etc...

I am chasing a weird vibration and am not sure if it is a wheel bearing. Are the wheels on this truck located by the wheel center, or by the wheel lugs? If the wheel lugs then I am sure the tires were only balanced by using the wheel centers.

Lugcentric (sp?) I believe. Non of my wheels sit on the hub ring anyways. If i recall correctly the rear hub ring is smaller than the front hub anyways.

If you jack up the axle can you move the tire and hub around? I cant explain it well but I could show you on my Sami as it just tossed the rear wheel bearing.
