I'm replacing my head in the next week or two and thought I would be a good time to get the injectors cleaned. I did some googling and turned out a dozen or so company's offering a service to clean and balanance the injectors. Any recommendations for any particular service?

I list a couple of places below:

If you need them fast, RC Engineering is good, I think I sent mine out on Monday and had them back on Wednesday, or Cruzin is among the lowest cost.

I went with Witchhunter Performance for my 3VZE two years ago. Quick turnaround, no issues with the injectors after the rebuild.

I did the same. They came back looking like new. Sent them out on Friday morning and had them back Tuesday night.

I've used Witchunter 4 times. Very fast, great job, he's a nice guy, and never a problem. It seems like a great thing to do every 20 years or so <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> I send the cold start injector, too.

This is a job that I think pays for itself. You want your fuel system at peak efficiency to minimize operating costs. More money for beer and fishing tackle.

1986 Sunrader Motorhome 22RE $200
1987 4Runner 22RE (under construction) $80.77
1989 4Runner 22RE, 6" lift, 35" Dunlop mudders $420
All rescued from sitting to death, all auto, 'cuz I'm too dumb to drive a standard.

'Used Witchunter a couple times, they are great to do biz with.
We rebuilt a 22re and installed freshly "gone-through" injectors at that time. Runs great!!! You'll only be able to tell a difference if one has a "problem" though... but for the price, and every 20 years or 200,000 miles, its not a bad idea. smile
