Need a Spot
I own a Pajero import 2.8 diesel turbo 1995 I have a problem that I need advice on Recently I have had trouble, not with starting it, but if I don't allow it to reach running temperature before driving the Veh blows white smoke from the exhuast, I believe this is a water in the fuel system, although the water in the pump indicator does not come The veh starts again and then runs okay for the rest of the day.
I think it may be condensation as this fault only occurs when the veh has been standing overnight. I have taken the veh to a local garage and they seem to be baffled by this problem, as the veh is at working temp when I arrive, so the problem dos'nt show any help with this matter will be greatly appreciated Ray

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Its to do with the seals on the fuel pump I believe. Seems to be a pretty standard problem with the 2.8s. Check out the forums at pocuk.com and search "fuel pump". Lots of info.

Cheers
