Its a 1988 Toyota 4x4 Just because they are tight does not mean they are good. Did you use OEM (Toyota) U-joints or aftermarket. OEM are the best. Non-stock drive angles can quicken u-joint wear. Damaging the bearings on install, or not greasing them up can/will also cause early wear. More than tread lightly.
