I purchased a 94 Bronco drivetrain today.
Engine was reringed & bearinged last year. AODE blew out the "diode" & will need upgrades & a rebuild at around $400 in parts & free labor from a friend. CV driveshafts front & rear.

I'll probably do a 2" body lift (if needed) & 4door springs for rear & crank & UCA swap for the front with 33's, 34's or 35's to keep the RPM's decent.

It'll probably be a couple months before I can start, but will power through it in a week of vacation.

I'll already have the old drivetrain out & wiring combined before I start.

I'll measure & take alot of pics of it & keep a full record of the difficulties I encounter.

you may have problems fitting the borg warner 1356 into your truck as it maybe too big you may want to go T shift dana 20 or another t\case.

Will the T-case fit inside the frame? In the early Bronco world, there is a problem with hitting the frame. Have seen some pix of heavy frame notching

IIRC the NP205 may be a bolt-up for the AODE, and is small enough to fit the old Broncos. The 205's low range is not that low, but they are tough/cheap. Stay away from the Dana 20 box, the Bronco folks need them all!!! Too many snapped output shafts.

I have the 205 on my mind, if there are any fitment problems. I would like to do my best to not have a body lift.

Advanced makes a 32 spline output for the dana 20 and the T shift 20's have a better low range than the 205 does,

Would you know if I can mount up the CV flange to the D20? I guess I'll check what Advanced has on their site.

Thanks...
Ed
