Well Kevin, it just may be cheaper for you to get the upyourkia spacers.

I had them on my 01' Sporty and for what I paid, I could not have made them any cheaper.

btw I'm a machinist and my time is charged out at $95hr which is cheap in these parts, and to make a set of front spacer from scratch I'd say 3 hours Min plus mats! If you plan on making them yourself, make sure you know how the taper attachment on your lathe works, and use Aluminum or if you want to go for a cheaper steel use 12L14 it's easy to machine.

[color:"blue"] well material is free to me and i get credit for projects not only that if there is something i dont know how to do i am taught so i thought this would be a good learning experience i read in another forum that for a 3 1/4 lift the spacer is two inches tall is this right? and i assume i drill 6 holes of the right spacing counter-bore three on one side and i was thinking of tapping three on the other then sliding the new bolt down and into the spacer? and just to clear things up i apologize if my previous post sounded rude. im a current student in a manufacturing engineering program and get full range in a machine shop. my next course goes into CNC. and so on and so forth [/color]

I'm surprised Everet has not responded yet. Usually takes him less than 24 hours. He might be working over time keeping him from getting on and posting a response.

Usually a PM works great.
