Getting the Wheeling Fever
OK, so I'm a little slow finishing my projects. I bought my 5.29 ring and pinion gears well over a year ago. I finally started the actual work this last Aug.

But now I'm done! I just finished mounting the last relay today. All I have to do now is wait for the snow to fall to see how the new low gears and front locker on my Raider work.

When I ordered the ARB locker, the retailer said it would take about three weeks for shipping. I called 3 weeks later, and was told it didn't make the last shipment and would be another 2 weeks. Two weeks later, I got about the same answer again. At this point, I sent an email to ARB to see if the retailer was still in good standing with them. They were, but ARB didn't show an order for the RD-110 I ordered. It seems the order got lost some how.

I'm sure glad I contacted ARB, they were very helpful, and I might still be waiting for my order if I hadn't contacted them.

Congrats! You're gonna love 'em! As much as the 5.29s and lockers cost me, I'm so glad I spent the money. They are worth every penny.

Did you get t-case gearing too? They make an awesome difference on the trail. Out of everything, I still consider that among the best money I've spent.

I don't have immediate plans to put the lower reduction gear in the transfer case. But one of these days I'll get fed up with my warn 2nd gear syncro. And if I tear down the transmission for that I'll take that opportunity to put in the lower reduction gear (if I can still get one).
