Need a Spot
Hello all i have a 22r mechanical pump. Well i realy did a bad job so im editing to perhaps relieve some of the confusion.

Im trying to locate where the 2 out put lines go on the mechanical fuel pump.I know there are 2 kinds of them and i have one where an output line comes out of the top and the side.

I can assume one is a return to the tank but being as i took this apart , be it awhile ago, dont recall a 2nd line running back the truck to the tank.

Am i correct in asuming it is a return line and if so which would be the correct output to use as a return line to the tank

thanx Brad

Body Damage is Cool
One draws from tank, 1 pumps to carb, other returns to tank. I forget which is which, but I believe 1 aims at the carb and thats your output. Then I think the return line is on the engine side of that one. Worst comes to worst.. you only have 9 possible configurations

Looking at the fuel pump from the front of the vehicle, going left to right on the fuel pump it's in from the gas tank, back to the tank, and output to the carb.
