Picked this ugly little gal up for winter wheeling up to the Pass and Mt. Rainier. Just curious if anyone else is using these for winter wheeling. My Wrangler doesn't do well on ice. Lift+short wheelbase+posi rear= 360's . Motor is new, 4" lift is already in. I need to drill the rotors out to fit Toyota pickup six lug wheels but all in all it's a pretty straight good driving car. I had one a long, long time ago and really loved driving it on the beach. They didn't have lift kits back then, we'd cut the fenders and put bigger tires on. [img] [image]http://img296.imageshack.us/img296/6660/chadandmycar017wd0.jpg[/img][/image]

That is awesome. I saw one of those at the gas station that had 1.67 gas yesterday. I did not know they made lifts for them. Keep us updated.
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Several years ago, there was a very heated thread(s) on Pirate about a trip a bunch of Subi guys made on the Rubicon. They did really well all in all...

Getting close to trail ready. All the linkage is hooked up so 4Lo and 4Hi engage smoothly now. Shocks stumped us for a bit.
After searching in vain for a correct 4" longer rear shock we found the 2007 Jeep stock Wrangler rear shocks sitting on the floor in my garage fit perfectly in a lifted Subi!
Even had the factory heavy duty option shocks so they should last a long time. ARB compressor is wired, deep bucket seats from a Corrado are ready to weld in. I'll post up some pics soon. Wheeling the Jeep at Elbe this weekend.
Need to find some inexpensive 4 point harness and finish drilling the hubs out to Toyota 6 bolts so we can put 15" wheels on it but getting closer...
Here is a tasty tidbit for TJ owners.
I think the factory suspension out of a 2007 JK will fit a 1999 TJ and provide about 3" of lift.
Shhh... This might be a dirt cheap lift kit for TJ owners as factory JK suspensions are about $20 on Craigslist. We're testing the install next weekend on my buddys 99 TJ.
