Getting the Wheeling Fever
Even though gas prices are down, i came across a set of michelin xcx 265/75/16 tires at a u pull it. I took off the mickey thomson mtz 285/75/16 and removed my wilderness systems rack. Although it doesn't look near as bad ass, the ride improved a ton and i am loving the extra 50 miles per tank. the only other thing i did was TRY and not gun it from stops. Still working on that one.

Need a Spot
my wifes daily driver is a 5.4 v8 ford....11mpg...thats scary... I try telling her about the lead foot at the traffic lights. that was killing our budget for a couple months while the gas prices were up. Any more miles you can scrape together noadays is a wonderful thing... congrats

also try changing fluids in the rear axle. I noticed on my Raider that when I changed the fluid I got an extra 10 miles per tank and even offroad it improved the LSD engaging.

I just spent $180 on a fluid service on the front diff, rear diff, t-case and 5 speed.

It already shifts much better and I rocked the 4WD for the first time tonight since we got two inches of snow.

I'm looking forward to any mileage increases.
