Need a Spot
Hey guys,

Tag asked me to post up some pictures of my recent solid axle swap i did on my 89 2.6L Raider. I live in the UP of Michigan in a town called Calumet. I am a mechanical engineering student at Michigan Tech University and work part time at Ace Hardware. I am a member of MTU's (mich tech) 4wheelers club and love being outside.

Anyway to the SAS (sorry for the large blurry pics)

Here is a "stock" photo, or how it looked when I got it. I bought this 89 for $200.

I have more pics if you need. I have since doubled the spring packs as they flattened way out. I dont have shocks on it yet, those will come soon. I also just built an anti-wrap bar for the rear. The truck is stock except for what you see. Stock engine, trans, t-case, rear axle ect.

THanks guys!!!

Ryan

cool truck but why dana 30? is it just temporary? I think the weight of the montero would be to much for the little guy.

Welcome! Nice work. I really like your roof rack. Do you have any pics showing the gutter mounts? Did you make those too?

The Raider actually weighs less than a Jeep, but yeah its temporary. I had the D30 so I used it. I plan to upgrade to a D44 or maybe bigger.
