I have a 93 toy 4x4 V6 and the 4WD wont engage when the lever is pulled back. The green indicater light will not illuminate either, ideas please

Could be something in the ADD system.

If you have the ADD system, it could be a vacuum leak. My advice is to ditch the ADD, and throw on a set of manual hubs. Less wear on the front end, more MPG, and less to go wrong with the ADD crap. Just my 2cents.

It does have manual hubs. I have heard about a solenoid that may need to be replaced...ideas

If it came factory with manual hubs, then you dont have ADD and that means no solenoids.

It has to be a mechanical problem. You have to get out there and troubleshoot.

I added manual hubs and it had ADD from the factory.
