Upon diagnosis today find out my fan pulley seized. when it happend it broke and threw the alt. belt and my power steering belt was screaming, burning and smoking so I cut that off too and made it home. Question is now that I've pulled my Fan Pulley Braket, can I take this to a machine shop and have them simply replace the bearing???? Seems cheaper than buying a whole new bracket from the dealer. Thank guy's!

If it comes to buying one, you can get one from a junkyard!

Don't see them much at junkyards; I see them on fleabay a fair amount however, and lots cheaper than the dealership.

Thanks for the thoughts guy's. Yeah, dealerships suck my balls and I've busted my knuckles in all those junk yards around Orange, Culpeper and C'ville too many times to go that route. Dealership wants $700 for the whole assembly with pulley's, fan clutch, etc.. Turns out these things are available as aftermarket units for around $100. Just have to wait a week to get it in the mail. Peace guy's and thanks for the thoughts. Fortunately I still have a thumb.

Oh you are somewhere nearby? Ive seen T100s here and there and lots of 5VZs.
I got an airbox from one in Buckingham. I got my axle shaft from one up 81 a little ways towards Staunton. Found both those on car-part.com.
I didnt have to pull those myself, the guys who had the axle even had it ready for me when I got there.
M&M and the other big place by Fredericksburg... they both have lots of 5VZ... but those guys think their stuff is made out of gold, and want close to dealer prices for things...
