Wow...thats quite a paint job. Looks like a really clean truck!

I'm wondering about cup holders too. I need one in my rig!

I put a tacoma center shift boot on mine. its from one with a bench seat i believe and i just clipped the original console over it to make it look original (you only notice if you look closely)

That's pretty slick Greg; looks like it belongs there. How does the xfer shifter ride against a cup?

Yeah, that is quite the paint job.

Well um, dont really want to admit it, but i've got misaligned engine mounts and it's tilting the drivetrain to the passenger side havent had time to fix them yet... doesnt go in 4low right now (but the shifter doesnt hit cups, i've got the 4crawler t-case short shifter as well so it doesnt move too much)
(ashamed of myself)

Greg, I noticed in your pic your speaker on the passenger kick plate. I have a reg. cab on my 85 and space is a premium. I have been looking for a good place to mount some bigger speakers. Do you have any more pics of them or tips on how you put them there?

Yes, that is a slick paint job. Rig looks real clean at least from pics. You got some wheels lined up yet or any thoughts on what kind?

Here's the driver side
[Linked Image]

The problem is that i have big feet (sz 14) and when i wear winter boots, they knock the grille off. Other than that, i have not had a problem with them. if you had an automatic, it'd be a no brainer.
Mine were custom made by a guy in florida "Bumpin Yota" off of Yotatech, but i have heard of people using speaker pods made for 89-95's in their 84-88's.
Here's his thread when he built them for me:

I really like that set up from the Tacoma. The lack of a cup holder in my 88 Runner is probably one of the issues I want to resolve sooner rather than later. No fun driving with a hot cup of coffee and no place to put it especially in a 5 speed.

Plus the shifter boot is a little on the ragged side so i'd like to clean that up as well. What year Tacoma is that from?
