hey guys i have a 2000 tacoma 3.4 v6 and it does nothing but bogg down and sputter. if i try to drive it, it brely goes no matter how much gas i give it, even at idle it skips a beat and then boggs when u give it gas.
ive put a intake on it, gutted both the cats, put all 3 new coil packs and wires on, bosch platinum +4 fusion plugs, a new throttle positioning sensor, cleaned the MAF, changed the coolant temp. sensor and im running out ideas
anyone have any suggestions?

Get rid of the Bosch platinums and put some NGK's in there for starters. When's the last time the fuel filter was changed?\ T'body clean?

Exactly, get rid of those Bosch plugs and put in some of the Denso or NGK dual electrode plugs, it's what required for your truck. There should be a sticker somewhere on the engine that specifically states that dual electrode plugs are required/recommended.

Did you put aftermarket coils and wires on? if you did toss them in the trash. Toyota HATE aftermarket ignition parts.

Backtrack and take out all the easy to remove stuff that you replaced. Replace with OEM parts and see what happens. Toyotas DO NOT like aftermrket ignition parts. I've learned the hard way. Air, fuel, and spark.....these 3 things are what make your vehicle run. Which did you mess with? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

The Bosch will come back to haunt you; go to the parts store and get what came in the truck STOCK.

You can get the NGK or Densos, but the first thing you need to do is to rip those Bosch plugs out, they will bite you in the ass later on down the road.

I'm curious as to why Bosch plugs are so bad for toyota's. Can anyone explain or direct me to an explanation as to why they don't work well with toyota's. Just wonderin!
