Auto hub 4 whl no work, is there a manual test method?

The front driveshaft turns but doesn't get to the wheels. I've read the article about taking out the ADD front diff system but that's too involved for initial testing. Is there a more simple way to give or take vacuum, or??, to manually activate the auto system. Thanks

Yes the ADD gets vacuum on one side in 4WD and on the other in 2WD.
You can use manifold vacuum or a mity vac or any adhoc method you like to test it.

Found a broken vac line from rubbing on the axle. Maybe I'll get lucky for that easy fix. Won't be able to test until some other road worthy issues are taken care of.
