started with a 1980 Toyota(wife chillin)

Of course did all the mods of most Rock crawlers.
Dual cases, Hi steer, hydro assist, welded rear, lock right front, H1 bead locks, Grooved H1 tires.
fast forward 4 years.
Fabing up a front bumper for my front dovetail.

my brothers smoothing over my half doors.

Older brother mark lending a hand.

Side marker light deleted.

Dovetailed the rear a few years back. My two brothers again smoothing things over. IT was my Christmas gift to me sense money was tight last year.

Installed Marlin's Shock hoops. Had to re-do the IFS box for rears up front.
[Linked Image]
made some rock sliders. with a tube bender. Although, I did make my bumper with the HF bender seen in the back ground.
[Linked Image]
made it a ex-cab along the way. not yet done.

I really don't dig the new to me web site. I liked the old way better. but that's cool.
anyway, My uncle gave me his 94-97?? toyota Tacoma today. He did hit a telephone pole with it. I'm going to go check it out tomorrow. I beleave it has a 22RE in it. I have my carb tune pretty good. But, EFI is the next best thing besides Propane.
I'll try to stop by more often.

Sweet truck, looks very capable.
If your uncle is giving you a 95.5-97 taco with a 4cyl, it's a 3rz which is a very good motor...

I here I can use a W56 tranny mounted to the 2wd bell housing. I just need to figure out if any W56 tranny will work.
