So I've decided i really need a hard top for my 1992 first gen Amigo.

And i seem to remember a post a few years ago with some links. But no luck in finding it.

So any personal experience on hard tops?

IIRC, Rally Tops was the only mfg who made tops for the 1st gens. Also, those tops at Extreme Tops look a lot like the Rally Tops. I would hazard the guess that Extreme Tops is just a reseller.

Normally, I would suggest a junkyard, but in this case, I doubt you will find much that is viable from 18 year old vehicles. Or at the least, you will find your average auto recycler valuing anything much more than you do.

New, while expensive, is probably your best bet.
