It has trouble idling without cutting out. Is this something that I can clean with Throttle Body cleaner or is the Throttle Body just wearing out? My Runner is 500 miles shy of 200K, Hugh 94' 4Runner SR5 3.0L, 4X4, 5-speed, 200K 01' Sienna XLE, 105K, auto everything... 91' Ford F-250, 7.3 liter IDI diesel, 5-speed, 170K Re: Throttle body issues? Using a can of throttle body cleaner or carb cleaner, spray in the opening, and clean it out real good with a clean rag. Open the butterfly valve and get ALL 4 sides of the valve, and all over the inside of the throttle body. I wrap the rag around a long screwdriver to push it deep down into the throttle body.
