Need a Spot
i have a little isuzu pickup. it has no balls its a 2.6 lt gas motor. i am doing new exhaust in spring going 2 1/2 pipe and high flow cat and muffler. im hoping that will help me to do the speed limit up canyons and over the freeway passes. i have been looking at the idea of doing a turbo, has anyone herd of this? any ideas? im also thinking of doing a new cam just to get some more low end torque. it is 4 wheel drive and i do go off road alot, at least till i can get my blazer built. so i plan on doing a snorkle and a stack out the back, just becouse i find my self in the rivers and big boy mud puddles. i dont want to lift the indapendant, its a wast of my time, ill be doing the strait axle converson when i have time.. ill lift it then. any input would be much appreciated thanks kyle

Getting the Wheeling Fever
If ya can get your hands on a 2.0 turbo set up from an Impulse, it's almost a direct bolt in. I believe the only modification to the 2.6 would be to add an oil line from the other side of the engine. I'm sure someone on here can give you all the specifics of the install. HTH

any ideas?

My main idea is that, while you only have two posts, now is a good time to re-register with a new screen name that DOESN'T read like it was picked out by a 14 year old trying to impress his buddies. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

http://www.houlster.com/amigo/index.htm Has a lot of good info about mating a turbo to the 2.6.

I had the 260 regrind by Delta cams done to my stock cam and find it to be a worthwhile investment.
