On examination it turned out to be the clamp that is welded to the interior seat frame. Looks like I will have to remove the seat and then get someone to fab and repair the clamp. Here's a photo. Anyone have to make this repair before? Should be pretty easy for a shop to do if I take in the parts and the seat back for them yes? Last edited by Crops; 02/22/09 07:43 PM. It had been repaired poorly before. I welded mine back together but I still want to replace the seat sometime soon. I welded mine with the leather still on the seat.
