Never have tried to put it into a parameter but I don't see why it could not be done to place onto the drawing. Usually we just supply dxf flat pattern drawing to our suppliers based off of information that they have given us. In order for pro/e to calculate a correct flat pattern you will need to know the bend deduct that you use with your bending machine. Then using the formula found HERE
to get the K-factor that you input into pro you will get an exact flat pattern. The key is to remember to use the flat pattern command and not unbend. Unbend does not take into account the stretching that occurs when bending.

Oh, that's in the bag, believe me.

Well I'll thro' the drawing I did for this front sump guard into the pot if anyone is interested

I also have an email from Mitsu themselves confirming that the ventilation pattern is OK by them

What can you do with this elementary-skilled drawing?

@ Steve
Dam that looks nice... you can even see the reflection of the wrench on the ground. Have any dimension and angels and I will draw it up for you.

@Angelo
Err not much..lol If I had that vehicle I could take measurements and defiantly work something up that could be fabed though. It looks relatively simple. Are you wanting it one piece or sections bolted together. Just off hand I would say 3 piece in sections like this. Those rounded corner pieces are going to be tricky and probably expensive though.

@ CDL1701
I think you may have missed a bit....no it was me , I didn't make it clear in my post......I was offering a copy of the CAD drawing. I did this some time back, only 2D DWG format but if ANYONE wants a copy (pdf) then I can email them over with a copy of the email from Mitsu that says they have no problem with the pattern.

I had this laser cut in 2004, hand polished, the pic is it fitted to my 3.0L

Is there any plans, ( so punn not intended ) to have some sort of repository for all the drawings??

I also have a set for a rear ladder, but this has not yet been made so would need a guinnea pig to trial

SteveN time for another

Wow that is cool to bad you have to pay for it I have always wanted to fully model my gen 1. There is a really nice 2008 pajero model on there.

I have a really nice craftsman table saw model that I did a few years back in Inventor.. maybe I can upload that and get a free download. I'm going to give it a try.
