These get replaced all the time. You can either get the bushings or a replacement arm. Many suppliers available: Moog, Beck-Arnley, others. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

you can source a Idler Arm for a 1992 Montero and just give it a 180...then its a RHD idler arm. I still have mine sitting in the back seat waiting to get changed. shop around though, I was quoted $185 for a MOOG (not a big fan of that brand) and I ended up paying $37 for a made in japan SANKEI "555" brand which I have had VERY good luck with in the past.

NAPA quoted me ~$100 for a 1992 Montero one..... So I found an idler/pitman arm combo pack off Ebay for ~$40...... I put the idler in and it has been good. It came with a grease nipple (which the old one didn't have) so I've been greasing it regularly in hopes that it will last a long time.......
Haven't put in the pitman arm yet - old one is fine, and it's a PITA to get the old one off. I'm going to rebuild my steering box soon so I'll probably put on the new pitman arm then.......
Speaking of rebuilding my steering box, does anyone know if there are weird and wonderful bearings inside? I'm hoping I can just get new ones easily from NAPA...
