Last year blew I out the tranny in my '93 Cherokee. Finally got around to replacing it and now it won't fit properly. The transfer case is sitting too high, and the front driveshaft is hitting the 4WD linkages. The tranny crossmember/mount is installed correctly, I even tried dropping the crossmember with spacer plates I made and its still hitting. Does anyone have any ideas.

When you look at it does it look like maybe if you turned the Xmember upside down it would fit better?

Body Damage is Cool
If it has the 4.0L I believe it would need an AX-15, not an AX-5.... Cherokee info

Gun it and run it!

Nope its the 2.5L with the AX-5.

I just cut out all the factory levers/shafts and made my own handle/lever out of an old shifter I had laying around.

Push it towards the dash and down - 4WD
Pull it back and up - 2WD
